Dear students, parents, and faculty,
Welcome to the Cal Poly Pharmacy Club website! This year, we are offering a lot of resources for pre-pharmacy students at Cal Poly to prepare them for applying to pharmacy schools. We are providing shadowing opportunities with local clinical pharmacists, community service opportunities, and other ways to build up students' resumes.
As of February 8, 2007, general meetings are held on certain Thursdays during UU hour (11am-noon) in Building 10 Room 201. We send out emails and put up flyers all over campus of the days we are meeting. Every week, however, we have unofficial meetings and club officers are available every Thursday in that same room to faciliate sign-ups where we are more than happy to answer any of your questions to our best ability.
We are proud to announce that we have made our first appearance ever during Open House this year! We have also participated in Relay For Life to support and raise money for cancer awareness, research, and education. This year we met and exceeded our goal of $1000!
This website is a great way to keep you updated on Pharmacy Club events and meeting times and location. Throughout this website, you can find information about the club, meeting times and locations, and other useful resources for those who are interested in the field of pharmacy or would like to pursue in a career in pharmacy.
